We are the first-ever company in the country that offers a humane wildlife control strategy. Our company was established more than ten years ago that aims to combine both the modern approach and science in getting rid of the wild animals. We are your service provider with a high level of expertise and expansive knowledge about wildlife management. We mainly focused on the use of non-chemical solutions, baiting and trapping, exclusion device, and eviction fluids that have been proven effective and safe for the environment, the animals, and the members of the house. We are adopting a highly responsive program and professional attitude to assure our customers that they will have the assistance of the experts at the time that they need it the most. The company remains at the forefront in the industry of wildlife who genuinely cares for the well-being of all living things. Some companies will tell you that they are offering humane services but will not understand that their rate of survival will drastically drop if they release them immediately in the wild. We are in partnership with wildlife rescue centers who will rehabilitate these animals before releasing them. We promise that our company will continue to be innovative, responsible, and professional when delivering our services.

Ottawa Wildlife Trapper Tip of the Month:
How To Remove A Skunk From A Window Well
Skunks are nuisance animals that have adapted to living near humans. They forage for food and often even take up residence on our property. It is not uncommon to find skunks living under porches or in sheds.
Skunks do not have good eyesight. They rely on their sense of smell and their keen hearing to guide them through the night. Unfortunately, skunks can often find their way into window wells looking for a place to nest.
The nature of the area and the animal can make this a difficult situation. Skunks typically can not get out of a window well by themselves. They usually need a little help. Besides, you don’t want to leave the animal down there to starve to death without food or water.
Options
There are several options for safely removing a skunk from a window well. Before deciding on your plan of action, it is best to familiarize yourself with state and local ordinances regarding this particular animal. These laws will often differ.
One of the first options is to gently lower a board down into the window well and leave it there. However, you should first attach some small pieces of carpet or cleats for the animal to grasp. Skunks aren’t great climbers so they will need something to hold on to. Leave the board there overnight to allow the animal to climb out.
Another option is to lower down a live trap. You will have to bait it first and cover the trap with a small towel. Once the animal has been caught, you can safely relocate it to a wooded area at least five miles away.
People have also used five-gallon buckets for this same purpose. You will still have to bait the bucket and you should only attempt this if you are experienced at handling wild skunks. Fortunately, they aren’t great jumpers, but they can become aggressive when scared.
Defense
Skunks are typically not aggressive animals. However, they do have sharp front claws and teeth that can do a lot of damage. They also spray that gut-wrenching odor as a form of defense.
When skunks become agitated, they try to puff up to make themselves look bigger. They will also stomp their feet and raise their tail in a defensive posture.
Skunks carry numerous diseases that present a hazard to people and pets. It is important to wear the proper protective equipment even when relocating a trapped skunk.
